Who we are?

Contracting Partner of the customer is MIITO GmbH, Wilhelm-Kabus-Str. 21-35, D-10829 Berlin, Germany (hereinafter referred to as ”MIITO”).

MIITO is a company domiciled in Germany.

 

Shipping policy

International Shipping

We do ship internationally, you can find the list of countries we ship to below.

There are a few things to be aware of, however: you, the buyer, are responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, customs clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods. We do not collect this beforehand, except for taxes within the EU, and can’t give you an estimate of the cost, because it varies widely around the world. Please do your research so you’re ready to get your package cleared through customs, and have an idea of what the additional cost will be.

These are the countries we ship to: all EU-countries, Australia, Canada, Iceland, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey, United States.

 

Delivery, Availability of Goods

The order placed is a pre-order. The production of the MIITO kettle and its delivery and the delivery of accessory products has not yet started. The specific time of completion of the goods and their delivery has not yet been determined. The first final products are expected to be available as of November 2016, however this date is not binding.

The customer will be informed separately of the completion of the ordered goods and their expected delivery by separate email. Miito will thereupon effect delivery expectedly within four weeks after receipt of the email.

The customer is furthermore granted a special right to withdraw from the contract if initial production is not effected within one year upon the placement of the pre-order. Furthermore, in this case, the contract may also by cancelled by MIITO. In the case of the cancellation of the contract, MIITO will immediately refund any payments made by the customer so far.

 

Refund policy

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

-       Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

-       Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@miito.com and we will figure out the best way to process your exchange.

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of initial shipping charge will be deducted from your refund. 

If you receive an exchange, there will be no further shipping cost.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
